Dynamics Portals - Re-enable Azure AD authentication

Hi,

While trying to remove the Azure AD button from the UI I've tried several things and finally achieved it by disabling the Azure AD authentication.

I did the following:

  1. Accessed: https://make.preview.powerapps
  2. Click at the three dots in the Portal app
  3. Choose Settings > Authentication settings
  4. Disable Azure Active Directory identity provider

In fact, It did work, but now I want to change some texts in the Forgot Password page and I need to login with AD to achieve that (maybe there is another way?).

So I went through the same steps as before, but now to enabled the Azure Active Directory identity provider, and as you can imagine by now, it didn't work.

Here are some screen shots for reference:

    Hi Pedro,

Firstly, you check General authentication settings:

Click Authentication Settings on the Identity providers page, and ensure External login and Open registration are set to On.

If you still can’t see button on the page, you can try to logout of your browser, clear it cache, reopen a fresh browser and login again to confirm if the issue still exists? Sometimes, there might be caching issues.

In addition to Login to Portal with Administrator web role and Edit the content directly from the Portal UI, you can also edit page in portal management .

Home page is made out of Web Pages, Web Templates, Page Templates, and Code Snippets.

You can change/add the content either in Text or HTML format.

For HTML code you have a designer control that you can manipulate the HTML.

    Hi Leah,

    The external login was enabled.

But in the end it was just some mysterious cache issue.

Last Friday I cleared all my browsing data, tried other browsers and even other computers, but the Azure AD button was not showing up.

Today when I came back to the portal SignIn page it was there, just like that.

    Thanks for the reply ;)
