    Hi benjamin84,

What kind of PO did you create? (ordinary PO, journal, ..)

Can you check that from the PO header?

Have you been able to allocate charges for other POs or are you in general not allowed to do that allocation? In other words, can this be a user rights issue?

Can you replicate the problem in a demo environment on a newly created PO?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

What kind of PO did you create? (ordinary PO, journal, ..) -> Benjamin : Its Purchase Order

Can you check that from the PO header? -> Benjamin : Yes , I have checked, its PO.

Have you been able to allocate charges for other POs or are you in general not allowed to do that allocation? In other words, can this be a user rights issue? -> Benjamin, its not user right issue, because for some po, the menu clickable, but for some po the menu is not clickable/ disabled.

Can you replicate the problem in a demo environment on a newly created PO?, I have created in demo envi, I created new po. the menu allocate charge is enable/clickable.

what its the cause or this issue.

it is because the charges allocation not setting yet ? or di some field there's incomplete data ?

    Thanks

    Hi benjamin84,

Have you actually set up some charges to allocate in the 'manage charges' form that can be found right above the allocate charge button?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Benjamin,

    It happens in 2 situations.

    1. If the purchase order is invoiced.

    2. If the purchase order has workflow activated and the order is already submitted and PO approval status is In Review, Approved or Confirmed.

    - If the Approval status is “In review” then you can Recall the work and allocate the charges.

    - If the Approval status is Approved or Confirmed then you can click on Request Change button on PO header and do the allocation.

Once you are done you can submit the workflow again.

    Best Regards,

    Emad Akhtar

    Hi Ludwig,

I found that if the allocate charges disabled then in manage charges, new button is disabled too. but if the allocate charges enable/clickable then new button in manage charges enable too.

    Thanks

    Hi Emad,

    Thanks for information.

So, if its already invoiced the menu not clickable ?

    how to enable it ?

do I need to input allocate charges before the po being invoiced ?

for no 2. yes its has workflow for approval.

doesn't I can input allocate charges , why approval po have impact for allocate charge.

so when I should input allocate charge, before final approval and the workflow completed ?

    need you advice.

    Thanks

    Hi Benjamin,

    1. Ideally you should input charges before posting invoice. If you didn't do that then you can use "Invoice Journals" > Adjustment Form.

    2. When invoice is being reviewed or already approved you cannot change anything in the PO including Misc charges. Ideally misc charges should be allocated before you submit it for approval. But it you have already submitted then you can recall the workflow and allocate charges. If it is already approved then you can click on Request Change button and then allocate it and submit for approval again.

    Hi Emad,

    I have checked another PO,

another PO already invoiced, but menu allocate charge still enable/clickable.
