I am working on a field service project and want to understand the different between :
- D365 For Phones Mobile App and Field Service Mobile.
I installed the Filed Service Mobile and noticed that Woodford solution is required along with it ? Whats the difference in terms of :
- Licensing
- Usability

D365 For Phones Mobile App is not a viable option for Field Service scenarios. Use the FS Mobile App, which is part of the Field Service app license and the CE Plan license. In addition to Scott's remarks, as long as the user is a Field Service person, they can even use sales functionalities such as leads.
The new mobile app no longer has the 10 custom entity limit. The licensing is included with your FS subscription. The blog, while good, is a bit outdated. I have a slide deck that talks about all the differences and licensing. I will include those updates shortly.
