Hello,

I have a question if you can help me: 

when I make a delivery note for a sales order which is linked to a project, I Can't  cancel or correct this one.

can you explain why?

    Hi Lamounia,

    Then you should actually be able to do the correction also for projects.  Can you find out whether some limitations are in place that are linked to your role? Probably check whether other users that have more rights are able to do the correction?

    thanks for answering me 

     

    I have the Administrator role. 

    there is a contole which is done in x ++ code, IF the sales order is linked to a project il's not possible to do correction on delivery note.

    I want to understand why AX do this controle and if there is another way to do this correction.

    Hi Lamounia,

    This seems strange.

    I just tested this again in an AX2012R3 CU8 demo machine and could post the packing slip correction for the sales order before invoicing the sales order through the project module.

    Yet, once the sales order is invoiced through the project the correction cannot be made anymore. That is because the items get "consumed" to the project and are thus gone from inventory.

    What AX Version do you run and have you invoiced the sales order already?

    Hi Ludwig,

    effectively,  I just did a test  in an AX2012R3 CU8 base. It works I could correct a delivery note for a project sales order.

     

    before, I did the tests in a AX2012R2 CU7.
