Hi,

I need some help. We are finding large volume of PO's being deleted from Finance & Operations. We are unable to determine if this is user error or a system malfunction. I am curious if anybody else is experiencing this and if there is some workflow that can be causing this to happen that we are not aware of?

We have been told the only way a PO is deleted from FO is by a user but we have communicated to all to not delete them but are still finding large groups of PO's gone from FO.

Hi Cindy,

Never saw a case before but what you may do is , you can activate the database log at least that you will know who deletes the PO.

One of the reasons will be delete action set on the customized tables related to the PO table or through some extensions.

Check whether there is delete action set on the tables related to PO.

Hi Cindy,

You need technical person to debug this for you. There could be few theoretical reasons as suggested by others.

> Try to identify since when this started

> Was there any code deployment which triggered this, or any system update.

> Who all having admin access, restrict admin access to single or very limited users.

> Does all code tested and reviewed before moving to production.

If this is in production, I would highly suggest to raise this with MS as soon as possible to avoid further data lose.

Thank you. I will have our developers look into that. I know we have several batch jobs that run and workflows so its possible one of those is corrupted.
