Hi All,
We have a Dynamics CRM deployment manager 2011 server running on 2008 R2 and the current AD FFL & DFL is 2008 R2 as well however we are planning to migrate all the servers to a new site on different datacenter that will has latest OS build for AD and other solutions however that server specifically will be migrated using a native migration process that migrate the whole server then virtualize it with it's same current OS, so my question is t will be compatible with active directory 2016/2019 or not? and if we raised FFL & DFL as well to the latest does that will work with? lastly is there any migration or upgrade procedures to follow as an alternative solution except of going with the native migration option?
Thanks.
Hello Abdul,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately AD DS 2016 is not compatible with CRM 2011 . So there always exist a possibility of it working or not working , In the event it fails to work we would not be able to get the required support .
Adding the link to the same question asked before

Looking at below two articles
https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/3005163/compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamics-crm2011/implementation-guide/hh699671(v=crm.5)?redirectedfrom=MSDN#Active_directory_modes
CRM 2011 does not go well with AD DS 2016 or 2019.
I would also like to suggest you to make a move to Dynamics 365 which is the latest version of CRM and will offer a lot of improved functionality and new features as CRM 2011 support is already in extended support and will retire soon. You can take use of the time remaining to get the system upgraded to a newer version of Dynamics 365.

Hi Bhartendu,
Can you please confirm the compatibility with Exchange 2019 as well? because we have the same scenario but with Exchange, as of now we have CRM 2011 working with Exchange 2016 and we are planning to upgrade to Exchange 2019.
Hello Jack,
Thank you for writing to us. As of now CRM 2011 is not compatible with Exchange 2019 . Here is the KB for the same

Also I would suggest that you would want to look into ways to upgrade your dynamics CRM server as CRM 2011 support is in extended suport and will soon be completed ended
