choose Company for data feed connection using Powerpivot

Posted on by 45

I can successfully connect to the default company using odata and published web services, i do not have to specify the company name. we have 2 companies and i'd like to use data from the other company.

do i modify the url or within powerpivot specify the company name? i cant find much info on this at all....

I'm using this url successfully for the default company:

http://****NAVSQL:7048/****LIVE/OData/

and hello!

Manish, thank you, i can now connect. however, that leads me onto next question, i can connect but non of the webservices are available..only "data feed content" not any of the web services. do i need to setup the web services for both companies? i thought they were not company specific?

    thanks

Try to add company name in URL as:

    http://xxxx:7048/DynamicsNAV80/OData/Company('CRONUS%20International%20Ltd.')/
