Number of Soft bounces completely dropped at once

Quick question about the marketing emails : we experienced a sudden drop of soft bounces that seemed to have converted into deliveries, i was wondering the reason of that and if it was normal ?

Hi,

Please refer to the following section, which is the definition of "Soft Bounce".

Email soft bounced

According to the second image, when the number of soft bounces drops sharply, the number of hard bounces rises.

So I'm guessing this is what is mentioned in the section above -

If five messages in a row sent to a given address result in a soft bounce, then Marketing will treat that address as a hard-bouncing address and stop trying to send to it.
