Average Days Delayed

Hi,

Does anyone know exactly which fields are used to calculate the AVERAGE DAYS DELAYED Cue on the main Order Processor Role?

I assume it may have something to do with the order date and shipment date? What if some of the date fields are not being used?

The value seems quite high to us.

It is calculating for all Sales Order where shipment date is before current work date where it has  not been  completely shipped.

The delay is counted by work date - shipment date of the sales order (sum of the delay) then the average of delay is counted by sum of delay / Count of delayed orders

    Example :

Your current work date is 09/05/2019

You have below orders which has not been completely shipped :

    Order A , shipment date 01/05/2019

    Order B , shipment date 07/05/2019

    Sum of delay = 8+2 = 10

No of delayed order     = 2

    Average days delayed = 5

    Thanks for your reply.

What happens to the calculation if the shipment date field is blank?

it will be included as well , this high number then could be due to a  lot of your order with blank shipment date

Ok we thought this would be the case. So what date does the calculation use if it is blank? i.e. does it use a low value of some sort?

Sorry i just checked blank shipment date is not included  for sum of delay calculation

but this is in NAV 2018 version , not sure whether NAV 2016 is the same logic
