Hi All

I am trying to call external webservice from the D365FO, I got the following error.

An exception of type 'System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException' occurred in mscorlib.dll but was not handled in user code

Additional information: The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'.

Any help to resolve this would be highly appreciated.

    Hi,

I see you are trying do consume a SOAP web service in D365FO, and based on the screen shot you shared I imagine that you created a .Net class library to consume the web service.

There must be something in the way you are consuming the web service in your .Net project, because if the web service requires authentication it should ask for credentials when you add it as a reference.

Please, refer to the following link and check if you did all the necessary steps:

    HI Rama,

Have you  updated your app.config to include the same binding as your server?

In addition it prompts permission issues, do you have checked your permissions?

seems that service needs your client to have certificate installed. you can create a console app to consume that soap service to see if that works, and then let D365 call it.

    Hi Blue Wang

do you mean machine.config file and the config file of webservice ?

My issue is not yet resolved. Clueless on how to move forward.

Do you have an example of resolving this issue ?

    Thanks

    Ramakrishna
