Show Service Management Menu

Posted on by 235

Hello Customer Service Experts,

I have this requirement to remove some fields in the Case Resolution dialog. To achieve this, I'm aware that I need to use the customizable dialog. However, we have remove the Service management menu from the navigation panel. Is there a way to temporarily add this again so I can replace the standard dialog with customizable dialog and then remove the other fields? I am using Power Apps in my customization.

    Hi,

Sorry, i just fount the url i provided is wrong.

Now you can use following url in the siteMap to test again.

    https://yourorgname.dynamics.com/main.aspx?appid=yourappid&pagetype=inlinedialog&name=ServiceConfigurationSettings

Note: Organization name and appid must be correct.

    Hi Leah Ju,

I did as the enumerated steps here. But after adding a new subarea, nothing happens when I clicked on the New Service Configuration

Maybe I miss something here but I could not figure it out. I included the url of our organization already The Service Configuration Settings does not appear.

    Hi Jolas365,

From the description you provided above, there is no need to restore the entire Service management menu, all you need is Service Configuration Settings part.

If so, you can add the url of the Service Configuration Settings to the sitemap.

    Here are steps:

1.Open the app designer of the customer Service app.

2.Then add new subarea with following URL(you need replace with your organization name).

    yourorgname.dynamics.com/main.aspx

    3.Save and publish.

    4.Test:
