Server Side Sync: Confirm Mailbox alerts in bulk (Tracelog table)

Dear Community,

Server Side Sync (SSS) is curse and blessing at the same time.

We run CRM 2016 SP1 on prem and Exchange 2016 CU2 on prem. with ~700 CRM users.
SSS is mostly doing what we expect but we also often encounter different issues.

On of them was a big mess after upgrading from CRM2013 to 2015 which produced a lot of (25.000) contact duplicates within CRM.
We were able to get most of them out in bulk process but still have CRM mailbox records with lots of these rows in the alerts section:

I´d expect they will have certain impact on the SSS process in any way..

After some research + trial & error I found the mentioned rows within TraceLog table in CRM database.
They are flagged with "TraceCode 102"
At this moment we have not less than 34500 of these alerts within our production environment :-(
Unfortunately I´ve not found a column/flag to perform any actions to confirm yes/no as within the webinterface.

Therefore my question is (knowing about unsupport things coming up): Is there any way to confirm all these lines in bulk directly in the database?
I´ve seen they disappear after manual confirmation but I guess it´s not safe to directly delete them there?

Hoping someone has also encountered issues in this manner and we could find a better solution than clicking 35.000 times :(
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Regards

Oliver

Sure, it's safe, it's just an alert, I do such cleanings all the time, getting rid of some old, unwanted alerts.

    Hi Pawel,

    thanks for your response.
Can you (or anybody) confirm that it is safe to just delete the records instead of confirming yes/no by GUI?

    Regards
    Oliver

You don't have to do it from DB, just go to Data Management -> Bulk Record Deletion and create new dletion job for "Traces" entity. Of course you should apply the proper filtering criteria to get only the alerts that you want to delete (so Error Code = 102)
