Hi atef083,
In the trial balance summary report there is no parameter available that would allow you hiding or excluding $0 lines.
You can, however, do that in the trial balance form by making use of a filter that says "!0" in the balance column.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
thank you for your reply but i'am asking in management reporter not in trial balance report in ax , could you please Explain more how to add this filter in row or column in Management reporter report
Hi,
In the management reporter this should not be a problem :-)
There is a specific parameter that allows you hiding $0 lines.
Here is a screenprint that shows where you can find this parameter:
Would be great if you could double check this setting for your report and let us know whether this parameter setting fixes your issue.
Many thanks and best regards,
HI,
i already remove this check and it remove all the row if all debit and credit with zero value and that's ok with me
what i need when i have value in debit and value in credit and in the closing balance column after calculate the amount will be zero for example:
i have cash account with debit amount 100
and credit amount 100
so closing balance debit - credit ( 100-100 ) will be zero
i need to hide this value or the line because this will allow me to print less page
Hello atef083,
I see.
So your line is actually not 'completely' zero but only the last column has a zero value.
I think you can also handle that with calculated and non-printing columns and lines.
This will, however, make the report setup very complex and difficult to understand for somebody else.
For that reason, I believe that it might be better not to configure such a report.
Simply export the report to Excel, exclude the $0 balance lines and create a PDF out of it that you distribute might be much faster and easier.
If this is not going to work for you, please try using additional non-printing lines and make use of multiple if-then-else calculations to get the lines you do not want to show.
However, as I said, this setup will take you a long time and make the report complex and 'messy'.
thanks ludwing
i try the easy solution to export to excel
