View C/AL Code option disabled

Hello everyone,

I have NAV 2013 R2 and I am trying to access the C/AL code of a page from the object designer and the option is greyed out. I am logged as an admin user.

Could this be a permission issue? Which permissions should I have?

Suresh,

Do you need to be a partner to access the code? We are working with a client building a connector who is working with a partner company in the nav stuff, and they have indicated that only they have access to the code.

I have read a previous post where "granules" have also been mentioned. What does that mean?

How can I verify if my license has those permissions?

You need to have SUPER user permission and also your license should have proper granules modify the objects or even view the code. I believe your license does not have permissions to view the code.
