Creating a segment based on completing a task

HI Everyone,

I have a customer journey where we create a task based on a link clicked, when this assigned task has been completed they need to automatically enter in a segment and receive an email.

What I've thought of is the following:

The problem exists between creating the task, and  completing the task after the 2nd trigger and this contact going into the segment. 

Is this something that would be possible with workflow?

Any suggestions would be welcome,

    Hi Matty88,

    there's no such feature OOB but below are some comments that might help to better understand the topic:

    1) The Activity tile only serves creating new activities (e.g. Tasks), it does not monitor activity completion.

    2) Adding another segment in the middle of the Customer journey effectively adds more contacts to the CJ flow. All tiles after that will process contacts from the initial segment as well as the new segment. On top of that, the contacts which are members of such segment will be processed immediately when the CJ starts. This can generate a lot of misunderstandings when the segment is e.g. misconfigured. Placing a segment in the middle of the swim-line is a generally discouraged practice.

    What if you split you CJ by two - second starting with your new segment?
