Dynamics Realtime-Marketing Forward E-Mail

Hi,

if we created a commercial marketing email within Dynamics Realtime we populated the unsubscribe link with the dynamics content of the compliance center (with outbound subscription center). If I receive the e-mail it works as intended as I can click on the unsubscribe link and get redirected to my contact specific subscription center. If I now forward the mail to another contact and the contact ultimately clicks on the unsubscribe link he gets redirected to the subscription center referring to the original contact, thus he could opt-out the original contact from receiving commercial mails.

Is there a way to stop that?

    Hi latfio,

    Could you show me the corresponding HTML?

    Most of the links in marketing emails correspond to contacts, which means they are not visible when you forward the email to others.

    But right now real-time marketing is still being updated while four consent centers exist, so I'm not sure if this is a problem the developers are solving.

    Hey Haig Liu,

    here is the HTML. Exactley thats what I thought too, thus I was confused that the unsubscribe link (dynamic value from compliance center) is still there within the forwarded email. I think this can be crucial because someone else good manage subscription lists and other preferences for someone else.

    Hello.

    The issue with forwarding the emails is that every email client has some processing done on the email received before it's forwarded. We don't have any control over email once is received in the inbox and any changes email clients do, we can't control.

    If I understand correctly, in this case the link was created for the original contact, and we don't really know it was forwarded, so clicking the link that was customized for the original contact, there is no information to show that it was not clicked from the original email.
