Assigning 'Owner' via Workflow

Hi Forum,

I want to be able to change a lead own via a workflow, currently the Owner field is greyed out and unable to change.

Is their any automated way around this? (I understand how to assign leads via views)

HI,

is your Lead record status is Open/Qualified/Disqualified?

If Lead status is open then you should be able to update owner of your record.

You can setup On-Demand workflow to assign Onwer of your Lead to Team/User -

ledgeviewpartners.com/.../

Just thought, have you tried using the 'Assign Record' option under 'Add Step' within your Workflow?

Are you familiar with Flows within Power Automate? Also, what value are you wanting to set the Lead Owner to?

You can update the Owner field using an automated Flow.
