Hello, when creating duplicate records (be it leads, contacts, accounts or opportunities) we do not have the option to merge the info.
Is this becasue we have a sales professional license or is something else wrong?
The toolbar is also not showing:

This indeed solved the issue for me, It was a permission issue however my button was still not showing. After regenerated my ribbon metadata the button eventually showed up as well. Thanks!

It should not be a problem of license, my sales Professional can dhow Merge button:
1.What is the current user's security role? Has merged permission been checked?
--Please ensure your role has sufficient Merge privileges. Under Business Management->Miscellaneous Privileges, select Merge:
2.Also, you can use an in-app tool, Command Checker, to identify what is wrong with display and enable rules of the merge buttton.
--To enable the Command Checker tool, you must append a &ribbondebug=true
parameter to your Dynamics 365 application URL.
