Hello,

I'm using C# to create a record using NAV web services, it works fine on local box, and it works if I check NTLM in NAV administrator, by default it is not checked, and in a three tier system, I get a 401 unauthorized error when trying to create a record. I've tried to research into SPN, and delegation, but I don't know how to make it work? Has anyone ever encountered this?

Thanks for the suggestion, it ended up being something we did to accommodate, I'll post the answer after I remember. Right now, I can't seem to dig up what I did to fix it. It was not the firewall though. Thanks for the help.

Is the service working if NTLM is set, but you are getting an error when it is not set? are you using default credentials in your c# code when you call the web service? if so you need make sure the service user has proper permissions set.

first check all firewall settings. the used web service port should be added.
