Hi Guys,

I wonder if a record is assigned to a team or user in the workflow by "Assign Record", what is the team or user's permission to the record? Is it based on the assigned team and the user's permissions in Security role?

Thanks,

    Hi Stone,

Yes,the user who are assigned the security role can only read this account record, and can't do any other operations.

    Hi Leah,

Thank you for you reply quickly, if assign a record to the account manager who have only read permission, then in theory this account manager should have only read permission for this record, right?

    Thanks,

    Stone

    Hi Stone

The team or user should have at least read permissions on the record/entity that you are assigning to them.

The following is my test result:

I test with the user(Jaff hey), who only have one security role: Account Manager.

1.I uncheck any permission for the account entity for Account Manage, it will appear following error when I assign account to  Jeff Hay.

2.when I only apply read permission to the account manager, I can assign account to jeff hay successfully.
