AX2012R3 CU12 - Update to the latest version

Hi,

we have a AX2012 R3 CU12 environment.

Is it enough to install the February Update 2019 or do I have to install CU13 previously if I want to patch this environment to the latest version (kernel+application).

I ask some of the kb numbers from cu13 are not in the list of kb´s from the february update.

For example in the document

for cu13 there is a description for kb 3207719.

That kb 3207719 I cannot find in the description for the february update:

February Update 2019 contains all previous CU contents as well.

But the KB list for February Update 2019 only contains the new fixes since the previous CU.

One more question: You know where I can download the february update? I only find a link for CU13.

You can download the update installer from LCS (Under Updates tile) and choose the latest update you want to install.

Thanks for the answer. I cant see an update tile. It seems that the LCS project is a D365 project. You know if I can change it to a AX 2012 project?

To my knowledge, you can't change the product on an existing project. Please try creating a new project on LCS instead with AX 2012 as the Product.

You can't.

But you can create an AX2012 project.

For this you will need to change your LCS session in "AX2012 mode".

Login to LCS, and click your name in the top right. Do you see two different organizations associated with you? One is Customer and another is Partner? If yes, change your current association to Partner and now you can create AX2012 projects.

If you don't see Partner, you must first be linked to an AX partner in Partner Source - for this you will need to talk to the Partner Source administrator of your organization.

This works if you are working for AX partner. If you are a customer, then I'm not sure how to do it.

Hi,

Please download this file -

The downloads you see there are for slipstream files (that you don't need). Once you run the axUpdate.exe, you will get an option to download the latest update.
