Team Members Functionality

Is it possible for a Team Members licenced user (through the Sales module) to create a job in Field Service, or would they also need a full Field Service (attach) licence for that?

They won't be doing any ongoing management, simply creating the initial entry to then be picked up by fully licenced Field Service users.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Mark,

I'm not sure what your exact scenario is but Opportunities can be converted to Sales Order.

    Hi Mark,

Could you please provide details about the entity that Team Member user is using to create the initial entry at Field Service level. Basically, if this entity is an exclusive one from Field Service application, you should have a Field Service license to use it, however you can add custom and OOB entities (15 is the limit) to the Sales Team Member application, so should works.

    Thanks,

    Thanks both for the feedback.

I've further clarified it with the team and it doesn't look like it's going to be a problem. They aren't using Field Service entities, just taking a sale through to the opportunity stage for review and possibly adding later notes / tasks during the close. Whilst the follow-on step takes it to Field Service, this specific user profile shouldn't need access.

Hi Mark, just to come back to your initial question, a team member license does not allow you to create work orders.

Hi Alexander is this still the case? The 2023 license guide says CUD for Work Order Management, management might be the trap word here... howver can they review and potentially update WO data? Al Iggs
