Access to view/subgrid

Posted on by 70

Hi everyone,

I have the customer service dynamics app that includes a new custom entity.

I have put the custom entity into a different model driven app that I have created for different users to use and populate the records for a different purpose.

The problem is that when my user goes to the custom app they can see a subgrid of the custom entity but no records and when they change the view from default to "my records" view they get an error message that says "You do not have permission to access these records. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics 365 administrator for help"

I have given them read/write access to the table via a security role .

Can anyone help me with a solution?

Kind regards,

Mathu

**additional** Having allowed one of the users to access the customer service app (which has many more views for that particular table in) it seems as though she can see data in some views but in others she gets the message saying she does not have permissions.
