Hi

I have several stores in ax and I use Retail module for them.

now I want use Master Planning for Fulfillment of my stores.(each of them are defined as a warehouse in system)

when I run Master Planning I have multiple planned orders for some item with same warehouse and store. e.g. one of them covers my safety stock and another covers my demand forecast.

I Want to have ONE planned order for both of them(demand forecast and safety stock)

as you can see in image, now I have 2 planned orders and I want to have only 1 Planned purchase order with quantity=48 after run master scheduling. can you help me to achieve this purpose?

information:

coverage code: period

group by vendor is enabled

Coverage period, time fence and positive days : 8 day

negative days: 0

Minimum quantity: 8

Minimum order quantity: 24

best regards

Vahid

    Hello Vahid,

    Have you tried to use grouping Planned purchase orders by Vendor as described here: Master planning parameters (form)

    And similar question has been discussed also here: Multiple Purchase Order of multiple Planned Orders with same vendor

    Hi Michal,

    yes. I already selected *Group By Vendor* in master planning parameters form.

    and also I read the discussion but my problem has not been solved yet.

    Thank for your Response,

    Vahid

    I would be grateful for any opinion about this.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Have you tried setting negative days to a value greater than 0?

    Regards

    Hi

    I tested your suggestion and with some condition I have 1 planned purchase order. but my requirement date is too late.

    for example:

    BEFORE:

    2 planned purchase order:

    Q=20 R.D=6/2/2021

    Q=20 R.D=8/2/2021

    AFTER:

    1 planned order:

    Q=20  R.D=8/2/2020

    Hi Vahid,

    Generally we recommend setting negative days to the average lead time.  Since there may be no point creating a new planned PO if the demand can be covered by an order due in in the next negative days.

    What is the new planned order pegged against in addition to safety stock?

    regards

    Dolores
