Hellow every one,,

I have a problem in ax 2012 R3 HRM and Payroll.  Our payroll process is as follow:

1.Upload time attendance machine log to database

2.we add manual over time in "Payroll transactions entries"

3.and we process payroll

4. pay roll deduct salary as per absent in attendance machine and add overtime as per entry.

The problem is now such as for medical leave we need to make payment for him. how is it possibly? simply we can say absent should be in system and the payment has to be added to him.

please suggest me ideas?????????????????

Are you using time and attendance?

In that case, you just add the pay types under the absence type group in the pay agreement.

This is normally a different pay type then regular hours, but some use the same. I have also had a customer with monthly regular payments to deduct a pay type and add another.

Also... Overtime should be automatically generated...

If you are not using time and attendance, you should. Take a look at my blog for a guided reference.

If you are not using it, you would want your time registering machine deliver the overtime and absence pay. If it is a time registration system worth keeping... It should give you that without breaking a sweat. Try talking to a pro on your system.

    Dear brother,

Thankyou For considering, your answer is really useful. i think i need to explain more about my situation. My situation is below.

We upload raw data to time attendance

    And we go:

HRM/Peoplefirst/time attendance / time attendance journal.

This place we can see the log of each users attended time and absence. Also here we are capable to make modification in attendance log. But if we make in that way, in future company dose not have evidence for absence. So my expectation is here it should be absent and in pay slip absence amount has to be deducted and if the absence is medical we have to re add as earnings separately. Which makes clear reference in pay slip.

Also we make over time as manual entry below path:

    Payroll/Journals/Payroll transaction entries

Also we tried to add medical leave earning in same path "Payroll transaction entries". But in pay slip it makes lots of problem. Consider my version is AX 2012 R3 CU7.

    Please give me any idea..

    In short my exception:

Need to record absence and make it as payable leave

So it looks like you have an integration to "People first"...

Couldn't you just get the info you need from People Firsts services?

Also... You could probably redo your integration strategy to be able to maintain both time calculations and absence management in AX.. Or remove the People first service all together and go full AX, though the web experience in AX 2012 is pretty limited.

    Dear brother, Mr Fedrik

I found earning code option and made all configuration as per Microsoft. but still we are facing a problem that if a worker added to LEAVE as below shows. Is there any approval for this process to make earning line in payroll? I did following process in final to test. All configuration seems to be perfect but i am unable to find out where this process makes effect/ earning for leave.

    1. Click Payroll > Common > Workers > Workers.

    2. Select the worker to put on leave.

    3. On the Action Pane, click Employment, and then click Leave.

    4. In the Leave type field, select the type of leave.

    5. In the Start date and End date fields, enter the first and last dates of the leave.

    6. In the Note field, enter information about the leave.

    7. Close the form.

    8. For a paid leave, if the worker holds a salaried position, verify that a schedule is assigned to the position.

      1. On the Action Pane, click Worker position assignments. In the Position assignments form, click the number in the Positioncolumn.

      2. In the Position form, click the Payroll FastTab.

      3. If the Schedule field is blank, click Edit, and then select a schedule. If there is a schedule in the Schedule field, close the form.

    9. Repeat the previous step for any additional salaried positions that the worker holds.

On the worker position you need to mark generate from schedule and select the calendar in the schedule drop down.
