These are your options, unless you purchased a localization from a different Microsoft Dynamics partner:

According to this screenshot from Microsoft, the customer should use the W1 database, but you can download any database you want. You can also download a language module. There is a language module for Mexico, which may be similar to Ecuador (or there is also a language module for Spanish (Spain). I found some for NAV 2015 (which may be compatible for NAV 2016 - I am not sure)

According to Microsoft, you should use W1 version. However, I would recommend to address this issue to one of the partners in your area, as they might provide you with a localized version, including correct language pack. Try searching a partner in that area at http://pinpoint.microsoft.com , or write an email to itmbssup@microsoft.com with a question to recommend a correct partner.

Thanks for the input.  I did see the list of available databases including W1.  I do need a specific answer as to what people in Ecuador are actually doing so if anyone doesn't know for sure, I will need to try Microsoft or Pinpoint.  Our MS rep didn't know.

I think you need to analyze the requirement and check what is the best DB which cater most of the requirements. Most of the time you will end up with W1 version but it is worth a try.

Or you can contact one of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners in the area and they will defiantly will able to give you an input.
