Hi expert

I am trying to upgrade my build server but getting following DB sync error related to ISV model:

Module 'XXXX01' is missing the following dependencies: 'XXXX02'.
Module 'SKS_Common' is missing the following dependencies: 'TAS'.

Note : XXXX01 and XXXX02 are the ISV's

It seems reference is missing in model. Check descriptor of relevent models has any pending changes in your dev boxes. Also check the blog to debug further Resolving a missing reference during Package deployment

Why do you have ISV solutions on the build server at all? The usual approach is having them in source control. The build server than contains a standard F&O application and your application (both your code and ISVs) gets downloaded from source control, depending on which version of your application you're building at the moment. You may be using multiple versions of an ISV solution at once (e.g. in DEV and UAT), while using a shared build server.

    How did you resolve:

Module 'SKS_Common' is missing the following dependencies: 'TAS'.

    Context:
I have the same ISV and have created a new Tier 1 environment.  I set up the version control and got the latest to pull down all files in version control.
When doing a DB sync, I get this error.

SKS_Common is not a model so I'm not sure how to add the 'TAS' dependency.

    UPDATE:

In order to fix this issue I compiled the 'TAS' model and found an error.  SK Global had a fix for this error which I applied and then recompiled with no errors.  After that I did a DB Sync and all was well.
