Opportunity pipeline phase vs sales stages

Hi Everyone,

To change the opportunity sale stages, I went to the setting / customize the system/ processes/ opportunity sales process and modified that (pic 1). However, in the opportunity reports, I still see the old values (pic 2). My question is what is the difference between the Opportunity pipeline phase and the sales stages?

How can I make them the same? I searched a found out I need to change the global option set by going to setting / customize the system and then Option set, but I cannot find the sales category over there to modify the values. How can I do that?

    Hi Arash R,

    You updated stages but you need to update statuscode or Status Reason of opportunity table also.

    The status reason and status code are something different than the sales stages.
