D365 FnO On premise - Cancel Intercompany Purchase Order

Posted on by 3,338
Hello,

I have a intercompany sales order that is cancelled and no lines inside it. And its corresponding intercompany purchase order in another entity is open and i want to cancel it, it too has no order lines inside it but the 'cancel' and 'delete' buttons are disabled, how can i cancel it? the purchase order status is 'Open', i tried to edit by going to table browser but the 'purchaseorderstatus' field is not editable there.

If i delete the record form the table browser what would happen to intercompany sales order?

Thanks

    Hi Naveem.

You can try adding a line to the sales order which should be then also visible on the IC purchase order. Then cancel the line by setting the delivery remainder to zero. That should also put the headers in the canceled state.
