Default campaign marketing reports Sales

Hi!

I was trying to create a report from a campaign in a recently updated standard Dynamics 365 Sales, but the function was unabled to use (no options availables).

Checking on Microsoft Learn, it seems that default marketing reports are still included with the standard app (Get started with in-app marketing | Microsoft Learn).

Then, I tried to import the report from another older Sales Environment where it was available, and an error occurred:

“System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault]: Only data source using fetch data provider is permitted on this report. (Fault Detail is equal to Exception details:

ErrorCode: 0x8004830D

Message: Only data source using fetch data provider is permitted on this report.

TimeStamp: 2023-03-09T08:13:52.7357138Z

).”

Can you please help me understand why I can't run that type of reports on my Dynamics 365 Sales?

Hi,

Please make sure that you have the correct security role or equivalent permissions to access reports in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Hi,

Please add the report to Display in the Report configuration.

Go to the report in the siderbar. If you don't see report on the left, please add it to the app in app editor.

After go to the report,find these three reports. Select one report and click edit.

Click the Display in.

Add all of these values to the right box. Then save and close.

Now, we can run the report.
