Hi

I am trying to set up an alert that will notify if a field has been left blank on creation of, say, a new customer.  I have tried setting the event to "is set to" and leaving the selection blnak, but this does not work.  Any ideas anyone?

    Hi Bradford,

    You can stop customer from leaving a field blank by validating the fields.

    Why you want to send notification on that..?

    Hi Steve. Just tried a few things here and the following seems to work

    On your create alert rule form, select option "Only records in ... that match the selected filter"

    Click select.

    Choose the field you want to test for and in the Criteria column use either "" (two double quotes) to test for empty or !"" to test for not empty. Single quotes do not work.
