Ability to resize side pane

I am using the client API to render the side pane on a Model driven app which works successfully.

Using pane options, fixed width size can be provided. 

I need to provide user the capability to increase the width of the pane. Is there a way to do this ?

    You can use following

    Change properties by retrieving the selected pane:

    var lastPane = Xrm.App.sidePanes.getSelectedPane();

    lastPane.width = 400;
