We have seen that in October 2021 that Dynamics 365 Marketing 2021 update wave 2 is released.
In the documentation we see that the general date on which the update is available is October 1.
But if we access to this other link, it tells us that in the Europe region the update will take place from October 15 to 17.
Our question is, if our region is Europe, can we update Marketing manually on October 1? or should we wait until October 15?

Dynamics updates/upgrade always roll out by regions gradually, normally each region release differs one week. As these articles explains Wave 2 will start from 1st Oct. in below regions:
South America
Canada
India
France
Emirates
South Africa
Germany
So if you are in Europe the update will be automatacally applied on 25th October.
