I am in the process of implementing ME and am trying to determine a method that would require a user to account for all of their time within a profile.

I am OK with the Absence Codes prior to clock in and after clock out but am having difficulty with the time within a profile where a user is not registered against any job, project or indirect activity.

If my user Clocks In at 800 but doesn't Start an activity until 900 AX is marking that as System Waiting. (I am OK with this as a placeholder). Assuming the rest of the profile is reported when I Calculate for the user it passes the validation and can be approved (even though there is really an hour that is not accounted for).

Is there any logic that would force this condition as an error? Or is there another process I should be using to NOT allow this activity to be created thus forcing the time to be accounted for?

I was able to resolve this issue buy removing the system waiting activity. This will force and Absence that can be switched to an Indirect activity.
