AX7 Project Invoice - "There is no data available."

I have been unable to Print a Project Invoice.

I keep getting "There is no data available."

I have synchronized database and done the Full Build using VS 2015.

I see the data in Project Invoice and the line items with data.

But the report will not show the data.

The project contract is T&M and is the report is using "PSAContractLineInvoice.Report".

Any and all help in either prior experience or pointing me to debugging and finding a resolution much appreciated.

    Hello Jay,

    What can you identify in the invoice journal? Is there an amount other than $0 posted? Has a voucher been created?

    Do you know whether some modifications have been made to the standard invoice design?

    Thank you for taking time to assist me.

    It is an Invoice several thousand dollars.

    No Change has been to Invoice design, it is out of the box.

    No voucher has been created.

    Hi Jay,

    Can you check in the subledger journal not yet transferred form in GL if there are pending transactions?

    If there is something shown there can you transfer those records and try generating the invoice again?

    I need to correct myself.

    Voucher transactions were created.

    It balanced Revenue and AR.

    But I am unable to find the cause of it not having any data on the Invoice.

    In my environment AX uses the PSAProjInvoice.Report can you try switching to this invoice template at the project contract level?

    Its Under "Project Invoice with billing rules", it will not allow me to change the value.

    It has the PSAContractLineItem in a drop down, but its the only value.

    The PSAProjInvoice.Report is defaulted for contracts with out billing rules.

    I am on

    Application release

    1611

    Platform release

    Update4 (7.0.4425.35132)

    Is there something I should be doing in Visual Studio.

    So far I have done no customizations.

    The report format dropdown did not have the selection for PSAProjInvoice.Report for Project Invoice with billing rules.

    But based on another article about AX 2012 I found the table(PRINTMGMTSETTINGS) in AXDB that stores the values and updated so default report default is PSAProjInvoice.Report.

    But now instead of empty report, I get an error as the invoice tries to open in PSAContractLineInvoice.Report.

    Do you have billing rules setup?

    In my demo Environment I have the PSAProjInvoice.Report for ordinary Project invoices without billing rules and the PSAContractLineInvoice.Report for those with billing rules.

    Have you checked whether those reports are actually correctly deployed?

    Yes, that is the same setup.
    The billing rule is time and material.
    It includes the hour categories to bill.
