Inventory dimension Location must be specified - Update had been cancelled.

Hello,

I run into an issue while trying to post a picking list on a production order.
I get the following error message while trying to post the picking list - I checked the inventory and locations, and the part number has enough stock and it's moved in a work location.

Should I delete de unposted picking list and then release to warehouse again and create another picking list?

Hi Community member,

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "I checked the inventory and locations"? Did you check on the picking list lines if all lines have a Location dimension filled?

It is hard to judge what might be causing your issue. Is this happening in a production environment? If so, are you able to have a copy of the current state in a non-production environment? A developer would be able to use the debugger to find the culprit.
