Hello,

I need configure Manufacturing module in Dynamics GP2016, Someone can help me with manuals or videos where they explain how to configure the module step by step from start to finish.
and additionally I will require advice from your experience in the configuration of this module, which can help me to do it efficiently and without setbacks.

If you look in the Help for Dynamics GP 2016, there actually is a Manufacturing.chm where you have 'Manufacturing Setup', to include security, basic setup, core functions setup, production functions setup, management functions setup, planning functions setup and user setup.

There's also information on 'Core Functions' such as Mfg cards, item extensions, bill of materials, sales extensions, sales configurator, reports and more.

I didn't see any PDF file for Manufacturing in Dynamics GP 2016.

    Thanks

Hello derek, in fact it is like that, I look for manuals of the module of manufacture in the 2016 version and they do not exist, I am guiding myself with the manuals of the 2010 version, for the moment I need an abc of how to configure the module, for example,

    Inventory Module

1.- configure articles, configure the batch tracking, expiration etc ...

    2.- configure list of materials

    3.- configure assemblies etc ...

    Manufacturing Module

1.- configure cost centers etc ...

and some tips suggested according to your experience, can you support me with that?

Thank you in advance for the support

    Hello Gilberto,

We currently do not have step by step manuals. Generally, when setting up MFG, the client first sets up inventory. From their they setup up their BOMs, Work Centers, Routings ect.

Generally, the inventory, BOMs, and Routings are imported in after the sites and work centers are setup in GP. This saves time. You can open a support incident and request the import documents that are available and explains the process.

This is a relatively complex process if you are starting from the beginning entering data, you may want to contact your partner for help in getting everything setup correctly.

    Hi, Sandip.

We manufacture concentrated feed for animals and we want to adapt the module to know the costs per machine and man hours. In general, this is what we want to do with the manufacturing module, It's possible?

    Thank
