Help with Intelligent Data Managemento Framework - AX 2009

Good afternoon.

I´ve installed intelligent data management framework in my workstation for testing porpouses following the white paper "Intelligent Data Management Framework for Microsoft Dynamics® AX Installation Guide".

AOS, SQL Server and the framework are all installed in my workstation.

When i try to start the intelligent data framework i´m getting this error:

"Failed to establish a connection with Microsoft Dynamics AX. Contact your administrator"

My AX client is working and with it i can connect to the Dynamics AX with no problem.. Just with the framework i´m having this error

Could somebody help me?

I´ve found it. It was missing the Microsoft Dynamics AX .NET Business Connector in my AX installation.

Hi , I am also trying to install IDMF tool.

I am having AOS installed in one server and sql server (for database) installed in other server. both server are in same domain.

I tried installing IDMF tools in server in which sqlserver is installed but when running Integrated data management framework after installation , it gives error "failed to connect to microsoft dynamics ax , contact your administrator".

Installation done from administrator login only.

Looks like the same problem as Andre's .. have you configured the Microsoft Dynamics AX .NET Business Connector ?

yes, i have done business connector configuration.

I have configure microsoft data transaction co-ordinator.

I am getting error when running post-installation checklist

Please help me in resolving this issue as its very urgent.Please guys.

I have resolved above issue.

we need to refresh data dictionary,Refresh data,refresh AOD.

Now I have one more queries :

when I am trying to archive any object from IDMF

idmf->schedule->archive-> configure rules for archive->then select archive object.

it gives message rules not found for actissotable

Please tell me how to link rules with archive object.
