Method of Payment link to a Ledger (not to a Bank account) error message

Hi,

I am trying to create in AR Module a method of payment that will be linked to a ledger and not to a Bank account. But I am getting this error message 

Function DimensionValidation::newForValidationRequest has been incorrectly called.

On the Payment Control  I didn't select that Bank transaction type is mandatory. But for some reason only Bank accounts are accepted on the set up of Method of payments.

    Hello msaturno,

    I had a look at LCS but have not found a hotfix for this.

    Do you know if some modifications have been made to the method of payment functionality?

    Do you get the same error in a different demo/test environment?

    In any case, I would recommend that you get into contact with a developer who can help you fixing this.

    We haven't done any modification to the method of payment functionality. We have the same issue in prod as well as in test environment.

    Have you tried setting up a new method of payment?

    What AX2012 version do you operate (R2/R3 and what CU?)

    Can you share a screenshot of your setup and the error that you get?
