Deprecation of Organization Service

Dear members,

Apologies for my naivety

I recently started working on D365 as a newbie and has been given a task in a larger project to migrate from xrmservices/2011/organization.svc to new REST End point. I would like your suggestions:

1. We have a large number of plugins developed. How we can identify which plugin is impacted i.e., what we should look for in the code

2. Is there a way we can check which processes are making use of Organization.svc service

Looking forward to your reply]

TIA

Regards

Dynamics NEwbie

    HI,

Plugins are not impacted with this because you don't need to create connection to service. Plugins already run under the context of Dataverse.

So you don't have to worry about plugins, Custom actions & Custom workflow. You need to only look at external applications such as Console app, Batch jobs, Schedule jobs, Azure functions if you are using in your project.
