Bulk update Notes to user contact record

Is it possible to update a Note to User contact record in bulk? for example i have 50 contact record and i like to put a note in all contact record. for example 'transferred from XYZ company'.

Can pls advise how and if there's a template i can follow?

Hi,

You can create CSV file to ulk upload Notes for your contact record. Please refer below my article on the same.

Hi Bipin,

Thank you for getting back to me, i am new in CRM so i am kinda finding out how this will work.

I am trying to replicate the scenario from the guide you sent me, I am wanting to update the user contact record instead of Organisation.

I also created 4 columns but i used as below. And i tried to map it in notes entity but looks is not working. Is there exact field i need to match from column and to the give notes entity?

Your advice is therefore sought. Thank you

Hi,

First name and Last Name is not required.

You can use Email column to map regarding field in notes. In my blog I used Account Name to map regarding field on notes.

Select Regarding (Contact) and select email address from column while mapping.

You will also need Title field for notes.

If possible share the mapping screen shot from your instance.

I want to check how you are doing the mappings of the column from your csv to notes entity.

Hi Bipin,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I have tried your suggestion using the email and mapped to 'Regarding Contact' but still no luck, i also tried to map it to Regarding Email and still nothing. I might be doing something wrong.

Here's my format, i downloaded the template from Data Import 'Note'

I also followed the guide in this link ' the very last one'

but it's not working on my end
