HI,
Has any of you the knowledge of how to export ledgetrans(or other tables) by using the import/export function under Administration.
I have created a tabledefinition and started the export for a little range of accounts and for one month.
The function started to export everythink and I had to kill it.
I need a manual but can't find any.

If I remember AX 3.0 correctly, is there an option to execute (export) on the server or something like that? That would definitely be faster. The AOS service and service account must have access/permission to the destination folder otherwise it can't create the file and export the data of course.

I don't have access to the server, therefore I hoped, I could use this export function to get data out of tables
You don't need access to the server to use the export. The Ax AOS service account must have access to the destination folder / share that you specify to export to. E.g. if you have network share called \\fileserver\files\export, the Ax AOS service account must have write access to the \\fileserver\files\export folder. Does that make sense?
