No Internet Connection Error- AXUpdate installer

Dear Members,

I am trying to run the AXupdate installer for CU13. I get the error "No internet connection"

Can any Help please.

Or is there anyway I can download the package manually and do the upgrade.

    I know this is an old tocpic, but I'd like to leave qhat was the solution for me here: www.loganconsulting.com/.../

    From the link above:

    "(...)the installer is using .NET 3.5 but that does not support TLS 1.2, the fix is to apply a registry change. I had this same issue with another application.

    Editing with the registry needs to be done with caution, if you make a wrong entry the computer will become unusable. Proceed with caution and take an image of the computer so you can revert if necessary.

    Navigate to the following keys and add the DWORD value of 1.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v2.0.50727]

    “SystemDefaultTlsVersions”=dword:00000001

    And

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v2.0.50727]

    “SystemDefaultTlsVersions”=dword:00000001

    That is all that is needed, a reboot is not necessary for this to take effect.

    Run the installer again and you will get the Log in to LCS screen."

    Hi Musharraf,

    if the steps above don't work, and you think it did work for you before, perhaps you could create a support request?

    Before that, it's maybe good to double check that your user account is properly linked in PartnerSource. If you click your name in top right of LCS, do you see your company as a Partner organization, and marked as Current?

    The above details or discussion are not fullfil my request, I have the same issue to download the LCS package. I download it before two to three months before but I unable to do it even do the same steps I followed before to download it. this case still unresolved from Microsoft LCS. How Microsoft not update the installer to fix this. How we can upgrade our current AX 2012 R3 Environment to next coming build provided by Microsoft if this not applicable on customer to download the packages ? I think its not understandable Microsoft provide the CU update but not provide the solution how to download it. Amazing ????

    This is old post, i was looking for the fix, When i tried i got a fix, so posting it!

    I was able to fix the issue by connecting my hotmail ID to LCS and then creating a AX 2012 R3 Project and then going to update> update.lcs.dynamics.com/.../1558780

    ax 2012 r3 cu13 no internet connection found

    I have the same problem with a Contoso Virtual Machine.

    I can use internet but the installer say that there isn't a internet connection

    I have no possibility to download the standard package on another machine.

    Do you have Any suggestions?

    That is the issue number the "3977307" in LCS and it is still unresolved there. So I am wondering if any of the partners must have done CU13 update in the running Prod environment.?

    Please suggest.

    The slipstream approach doesn't work for the model database, only for binary components. So you have to get rid of this internet connectivity problem. Did you already check the hotfix that was mentioned earlier in this discussion (3977307)?

    Thanks Nikolaos for your help. I know the slipstream process to install CU13 and I have done that already. But my concern is we cannot uninstall the all the components in Production and reinstall them using slipstream. Please suggest. :)

    Is it possible that in the newly installed slipstream we can update the model and data of prod and can restore the database in Prod. I am really not clear about it. Please suggest.
