Hi All,

I already install sql server 2017 on SANBOX-2 UAT. But when I used a server name , username , password from LCS for access SQL Server on UAT. I can't access it.

Please support - How can I access SQL Server on UAT ? I want to backup sql data from sanbox-2 UAT to sanbox-1 But I can't access SQL Server so that I can't do this job.

If Our company go live in the future . Can I access sql server on production ?

Thanks

Pham

    Hi phongqn2000,

You don't need to install anything there. Tier-2 uses Azure SQL and you can connect to it using management studio and credentials from LCS.

    Hi,

    Adding more information.

You don't have any control over production database.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Pham.

So you don't need to copy the UAT database to another instance?   Where do you get the SQL Server connection string information on the LCS site?

Log in to LCS> Select the Environment> UAT>

Download the RDP file of AOS-1

    Log in with Admin account.

Now Open SSMS> Database name can be found out in

Database Accounts of LCS> it has SQL Server\Database Name

So it will be like abc-test-appdbserver-212pp020

just copy this and add .database.windows.net

It this case this should be abc-test-appdbserver-212pp020.database.windows.net followed by SQLadmin user name and password from LCS! :)
