    Hi karanSurya,

Do you have any modification implemented for this proforma invoice report?

Have you ever been able to open this report in the past without this error message?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

i am happy that you responded. No modification done. Client has opened other invoices without error message. seems this is the first time they are opening Proforma.

doing think below steps may work: i got it from some blog:

    Method I.

Force the update of the properties by renaming the parameter

    1. Open the report for editing in Visual Studio.

    2. Expand the Parameters node and rename the affected parameter to ParameterName1.

    3. Set Allow Blank and Nullable to True if not already set.

    4. Deploy the report.

    5. Rename the parameter back to ParameterName.

    6. Deploy the report.

    appreciate your response on this.

    Regards,

    Karan.

    Hi Karan,

I am not aware of the blog post you refer to. Yet, you can test whether this resolves the issue (do this in a demo/test environment first).

I also had a look at LCS where I found a couple of hotfixes related to proforma documents.

Are you on the latest AX version?

If not then an upgrade to the latest CU might also help (assuming that this is a feasible option)

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    hi Ludwig,

    thank you for your response.

The environment is on latest cu13 and there is other machine which works perfect.

Also the blog suggestion also did not work.

Is there any other solution for this. other than debugging?

    Appreciate your response on this.

I tried this step below and solve the issue in "This report requires a default or user-defined value for the report parameter"

    Thank you. karanSurya
