Your can type Shift button and at the same time right click on NAV icon on your desktop. Click Run as different user and enter your username and password.
Hi,
You need to press the Shift key and right click on the icon. Then select the "Run as a different user". Then it will open up a window, where you need to enter the user name and password.
As others mentioned use Shift Key but sometimes it did not work in that case use Ctrl + Shift and then Right click on the application.
Hi Felipe,
You can change the Config file on the local machine so it doesn't automatically login with the Windows account. This way it will always ask for a username and password when you open NAV:
The config file may be located at the following directory:C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70(if not then try C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
Change the config file from:<add key="ClientServicesCredentialType" value="Windows"/>
To:<add key="ClientServicesCredentialType" value="Username"/>
Agreed with other member
Technically, I agree with other members, however if users use full shift for their work, I'd recommend to logout the computer and login, using their personal logins, as they would perhaps use not only NAV, but also other applications, and this is generally better to operate under your own personal environment.
