NAV 2015 - G/L entries, the 'Reversed' is not checked when reversing a Job WIP

Dear all,

I had a problem with reversing WIP Job. The reversing WIP is fine and in the G/L Entries, it add another line with negative amount. 

The problem is that in G/L entries, the 'Reversed' is not checked. This is bad for Finance Reports.

Anyone had solution for this?

    could be a bug. update with newest cumulative update, then try again.

    how did you reverse the WIP job? This could give a clue on where to look and if this is even intended to work.

    Dear Mr.  Glathe,

    My NAV build is: 8.0.41779.0, and my WIP method is: COMPLETED CONTRACT. Here the steps I did:

    1 - In Job card, complete a Job then run 'Calculate WIP' and 'Post WIP to G/L', check G/L and see the Recognized Cost.

    2 - In Job card, change status to 'Order', run ''Calculate WIP' again and 'Post WIP to G/L' with option: Reversal Only.

    3 - Check in G/L: the process made a line with the negative amount for Recognized Cost but the 'Reversed' is not checked.

    This could be a bug in the system. As Jonathan suggested update the system with latest cumulative updates.

    Dear all,

    I'm sorry for the late reply. I had some problem with the new CU of NAV 2015. So I installed NAV 2016 instead and test 'Reversing Job WIP' with the same process.

    And the result is the same. The column 'Reversed' is still not checked.

    I've asked my senior and she said this is standard. So in my case, it needs customization.
