Some of the methods have quite descriptive names. In other cases, you can consult documementation and searcgh the internet for previous discussions and blog posts.

If any methods remain, then we can discuss them here.

Also, how did you compile this list? Are you sure that all the methods are relevant? For example, I honestly don't know the purpose of scopeIdentifier(), because I've never needed it for anything. What is your scenario?

Its about data entities in D365FO.

You forgot to mention at which object(s) are the methods defined, which is a crucial piece of information.

Nevertheless it seems to me that it's about data entities in D365FO. Is that correct? If so, let me move this thread to a D365FO forum.

    Hi Mark,

what exactly do you mean by "differences between these methods"? Or do you rather mean "what do these methods do/control"?

Anyway, I can warmly recommend searching the web (MS documentation, blogs, discussions etc), you will find a lot of information.

For example about your first question I found this when I typed "dynamics 365 operations allowIndexHint" in a web seach: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/get-started/whats-new-platform-update-23#enabling-index-hints-in-x-again
