Hi Community,
What is the difference between Qty. (Calculated), Qty. (Phys Inventory) and Quantity in Navision 2018?
Thank you!
I assume you are doing physical inventory.
Qty Calculated is the qty NAV calculates that your inventory is. qty. Phys inventory is the inventory you have counted.
You can read more about that process here.

Josh,
Adding to Inge's reply...
On the Physical Inventory Journal the columns Qty. (Calculated) is the quantity NAV has calculated when running the Calculate Inventory function. The field Qty. (Phys. Inventory), after running the function, shows the SAME QUANTITY but you can EDIT this field to enter the actual counted quantity.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Steve
Hi, if you are talking about Physical Inventory Journal, hope the following info will also help.
Thanks.

Hi all,
Thank you for your answers, I notice there is a column with "Quantity", so what does this implies?
Since there is already QTY in physical location and QTY(Calculated).
What does the 3rd Qty meant? Is it for us to input the difference?
Hi, the 3rd Qty,
Quantity = ABS (QTY(Phys. Inventory) - Qty. (Calculated))
