NAV 4.0 on 2003 - raising AD functional level

I have NAV 4.0 running on a 2003 DC at a 2003 domain functional level.
The database is on a partner DC at the same level.

Will raising the functional level from 2003 to 2008r2 create any issues?

I'm just trying to keep this running another year then I can mothball it.

    please follow dynamicsuser.net/.../nav-4-0-on-windows-2008-r2-server

    also think about a technical upgrade to nav 5 or nav 2009. this would reduce your technical challenges.

    We ran into some trouble while doing so and then we decide to upgrade the NAV to latest version. However you can give it a try on a test.
